Think Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Promo 2018

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as “Pinktober.” As a time for reflection, prevention and support, there are many ways for your company to get involved throughout the month. One way is by handing out Breast Cancer Awareness promotional products that not only show your support to fight against cancer but also promote awareness in your community.

According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women in the United States, other than skin cancer. Breastcancer.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and community to those touched by this disease, estimates that 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Although the rates are not as staggering, breast cancer can also occur in men.

Many of us have been personally affected by cancer in some way or another; whether directly, a relative, friend, or co-worker. Relate to them. Show your customers that your company is sensitive on issues such as breast cancer, that may be affecting them in their everyday lives. Brand Aid has designed a collage of our favorite Breast Cancer Awareness items that will be perfect for this fall.

How Can Breast Cancer Awareness Promotional Products Be Used to Show Support in October?

Education

Breast Cancer awareness promotional products can be used to educate your audience on risk factors, signs and symptoms as well as early detection. Education can help to connect your community with resources and increase the rate of early detection. Host, sponsor or participate in a community event and hand out promo products that includes a website of informational resources for individuals to learn more about the disease and prevention. Brand Aid has a wide variety of Breast Cancer Awareness promotional products to make a statement for any event.

Fundraising

You can give away items to rally for increased awareness or consider selling them at your event as an enticing way to raise funds. Pack up your campaign message and then donate profits to your company’s foundation of choice, such as The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Appreciation

Recognize and reward those who have made donations to the cause and thank those who have volunteered their time with a gift of appreciation. Promotional items make great gifts for donors and may even encourage repeat donations!
